About Me

Early Life
I'm a Jersey boy through and through, growing up with a perfect blend of Irish wit and Puerto Rican passion. My mom was an educator who planted the seed for my love of words early on. I was that kid who couldn't sit still in class but would devour any book I could get my hands on - from fantasy worlds to history books. That mix of restless energy and endless curiosity shaped who I am today: someone who's always hungry to learn something new.
Academic Background
I chose to study history at Rutgers because I believe the past holds lessons for building a better future. My education taught me that there are really only two ways to study history: reading and writing. So that's exactly what I did - I read everything I could find and wrote until my fingers hurt. This is where I learned to turn complex research into stories that people actually want to read.
Professional Experience
While putting myself through school and navigating the pandemic, I built a career as a freelance editor. I love helping others find the right words to tell their stories. Every project is different - from academic papers to business proposals - and that variety keeps me on my toes. Just like teaching myself to code this website, I believe in diving into new challenges headfirst and figuring things out along the way.
Personal Interests
When I'm not working, you'll find me watching comedy and kung-fu movies, or playing strategy games where I can march armies across maps. I taught myself guitar during the pandemic and now I play music with my friends every week. I'm always picking up new hobbies and skills - that restless kid who couldn't sit still? He grew up to be someone who can focus that restless energy to a laser point and blast away at projects.
My Approach
Whether I'm writing content, editing a manuscript, or tackling a new project, I bring the same dedication and attention to detail that I developed through my academic training. I believe in clear communication, meeting deadlines, and delivering work that exceeds expectations. Every project is an opportunity to learn something new and create something meaningful.
